My Journey
My name is Juanda Honore, founder.
Urban Financial Literacy was born out of my own journey from employee to entrepreneur.
In my early 20s, I left a steady job to pursue my dream of owning and operating a brick-and-mortar business in a mall. That bold step led me to owning multiple investment properties and navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship. Through it all, I learned how to survive the 'what ifs' of life and business—lessons that would later become the foundation of how I coach others today.
My financial awakening—learning about life insurance and credit—changed everything. I realized these tools were never taught in my community, and I knew I had to share them. That calling led to the creation of Urban Financial Literacy and the GettingMoney4Life community.
